Anti-inflammatory Golden Milk powder recipe

4 tablespoons ground turmeric

2 teaspoons ground ginger

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Few grinds black pepper

1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom

Mix the spices together and pop into an airtight glass jar. To make golden milk, use 1 heaped teaspoon of the spice mix and stir into 2 teaspoons hot water to form a paste (make sure there are no clumps). Add 1-2 teaspoons of a sweetener of your choice (maple syrup, honey, raw sugar, coconut sugar etc) and add milk to your liking. For a warm Golden Milk, stir through the milk and heat gently in a small saucepan over low-medium heat. For an iced Golden Milk, add the paste and sweetener to a tall glass, add ice cubes and pour over milk stirring to combine. Enjoy x
